The Cemetery Improvement Society is the brainchild of the versatile Marc Claggett, who performs with a number of great bands in the Madison area, including TCIS, Butt Funnel, and The Projection People.
The Cemetery Improvement Society consists of Claggett on guitar, samples, drum machine, and more recently Brad Hawes (Revolving Doors, Projection People, Butt Funnel) on keys, drums, and percussion. The sound is at times dark and intense, other times very uplifting, but always extremely energetic.
This cut was performed at the Annex in Madison WI shortly before Brad joined up halfway through the groups tour with Meteoreyes from Sarasota, FL. I have videos from the final show of that tour recorded at The Frequency, so stay tuned for more from TCIS!
