Sometimes things just happen right.
I went to The Frequency awhile back to check out my boys in Isodynamics opening up for Blueprint and Macklemore. Next thing I know I’m talking to Blueprint about filming a couple of songs and he’s into it.
Fast forward a few weeks and now after a bit of back and forth Rhymesayers has my video for “The Clouds” featured on their website!
This is particularly exciting for me because they were so awesome about just letting me do my creative thing, and gave me some excellent feedback (“more clouds”) :).
The Clouds is off of Blueprint’s latest album “Adventures in Counter-Culture”, which is quickly becoming one of the most talked about Hip-Hop albums this year.
It’s a slow building, intense song about reaching for your dreams, getting off your ass, and making things happen for yourself.
Blueprint takes the energy from 1 to 11 in this performance, and his set that night has boosted him into the upper echelon of Hip-Hop performers in my book.
If you haven’t heard it yet, scoop this one up immediately. You will not regret it.
