Shortly after returning from SXSW this year, (where I saw too many bands to count, including Doomtree and Astronautalis) I was thrilled and amazed to see Sims from Doomtree coming through Madison, WI.
Amazed because of the crazy touring schedule this guy and his label-mates keep, and thrilled because he’s super dope :)
It was a great night, both him and Astronautalis ruled the crowd, and I got some fun backstage hang time with these awesome road-worn monsters of the underground Hip-Hop scene.
I also got a nice chunk of video with their permission, so enjoy :)
Astronautalis vid coming at some point, keep your eyes peeled. And perhaps even a Sims/Astronautalis mashup performance?
