Just heard this awesome new track by none other than F.Stokes, called “My Simple”.
After looking into it, I found out my dude Man Mantis did the production on the track, and even more exciting is that F.Stokes (From Madison, now in NYC) is officially signed to Potholes Music, the new record label formed by the people behind underground Hip-Hop site Potholes In My Blog.
“My Simple” is the first single off the new EP Love, Always due to be released on Feb.14 2012. I’m looking forward to it.
It’s great to see People from the Madison, WI scene taking off and making a name for themselves out in the big world. Madison’s getting more and more attention these days and I know plenty of artists from there who should be using that to their advantage. The talent pool is crazy in Madtown. Nuff said on that.
This “Lyrics” video is SUPER dope as well. And, if you watch at 0:20 in, there’s a big shout-out to Madison and Janesville.
