Shortly after returning from SXSW this year, (where I saw too many bands to count, including Doomtree and Astronautalis) I was thrilled and amazed to see Sims from Doomtree coming through Madison, WI.

I admit it, I’ve been guilty of fanboy behavior on a few occasions, and this is one of them. Once again I am singing praises to the Hottest Hip-Hop crew in the Midwest, Doomtree. They completely rocked the High Noon Saloon for the last performance of their Wings + Teeth tour, before heading home to Minneapolis for the Doomtree Blowout 6.
If every show I went to had this kind of positive energy, I’d probably die of over-exposure to awesome.
Tonight in Minneapolis marks the start of the two evening Doomtree Blowout 6 at First Ave.
Oh. My. God.
This will be one to remember people! Not even a week off of their 35 show coast to coast Wings + Teeth tour, Minnesota’s premiere Hip Hop crew is ready to tear the roof off First Avenue.
