My weekend was completely nuts, the craziest part of it being the Mifflin St. Block Party. If sweaty half-naked dancing, live music from around the country, drinking to the point of blacking out, and destruction of private property are your thing, that was the place to be on Saturday.

The Skintones are pretty much a staple of the Madison hard rock scene, and this year during the Maximum Ink Halloween party at The Annex they showed everybody why.These guys are so Rock they sweat gravel and shit boulders :)Seriously though, this was an awesome performance, and I really enjoyed it.

The Maximum Ink Halloween party at the Annex this year was a pretty sweet event, with a Star Wars theme and bands that reminded me what a good local rock/metal show could be. Leading off the evening was Axiom, whom I’ve covered before, and man did they get the evening off to a good start.

I covered the Maximum Ink Halloween Bash the other night and let me tell you, it beat Freak Fest hands down. It was a no cover, Star Wars themed costume ball, with a frickin’ awesome line-up of bands. I shot the whole evening, so keep your eye out for new music videos!
