Icarus Himself is an indie rock trio from Madison, WI, and one of the more interesting bands I’ve heard in awhile. Their sound is edgy and the arrangements are tastefully done with just enough layering at times to keep things interesting without turning to mud. The vocal melodies are memorable and the harmonies are very well done

One of the coolest places in Madison, WI to check out a concert in the summer is the Memorial Union Terrace. There’s always an excellent crowd, the view is amazing, and the music is usually excellent.
